The Art Line
Taking a walk through the historic center of Naples is a unique experience. Every corner, alley tells of the beauty and complexity of a city layered and steeped in history. For the lazy or the truly passionate ones about contemporary art, the Metro Line 1, known as The Art Line, is a convenient, fairly quick (ride times are not particularly frequent though) and absolutely beautiful transportation system.
In fact, the line features stations designed by leading architects performing as real containers of art. Attico 33 is located in close proximity to the "University" Station, by designer Karim Rashid, conceived as a kaleidoscope of colors, words and interactive images.
From here you can visit the most interesting stations: don’t miss the most photographed one, the "Toledo" Station, designed by architect Óscar Tusquets Blanca, where you will find the well-known site-specific installation by Robert Wilson: walking down the escalators, you will be immersed in the blu of the sea while if you look up you will discover a sky of stars. Enjoy your navigation!
